Mechanical Research & Design, founded in 1976 offers excellent products and services and is looking forward to working with you for all your pipe test plugs, mechanical plugs, reactor nozzle plugs, specialty plugs, pipe joint testers, annular seals, inflatable seals and bulkheads.

Throughout the years, we have worked closely with municipalities and industries ranging from nuclear power plants and utilities to heavy equipment manufacturers in meeting our customer's schedules as well as developing innovative product designs to provide sealing solutions. Our reputation in the industry is that of a leader and our focus is on providing quality. Your satisfaction is our guarantee.

Our product line contains standard and non-standard sizes. We can provide sealing solutions in sizes from 1/2" to 144" with PSIG ranges up to 5000 PSIG. We stock standard sizes to 72" diameter, but can deliver other sizes in two weeks. Unusual sizes and applications are welcome at Mechanical Research & Design.
