- At the age of 13, I attended Jefferson Elementary School (Orthopedic Unit), because I didn't know any English at all and also because of my disability. A few words that I knew were too basic even for daily living. Anyway, I skipped intermediate school and attended Kaimuki High School at the age of 16. I was too old for an intermediate school. I graduated from high school at the age of 20 in the Fall of 1995, then enrolled at Kapiolani Community College, which is a two-year college, but took me four years mainly just because I couldn't decide on the major. I then decided to transfer to University of Hawaii in 2000, because I realized a college degree just wouldn't be enough. I majored in ITM, and I have graduated on May 19th, 2002, with a BBA. Anyhow, graduating from University of Hawaii is a great accomplishment for me, because I was only homeschooled in Korea by my mother only up until 9.
