- Micro Publishing focuses on distributing the what we call the Gutenberg Press for the 21st Century to small community organizations. Our goal is to help usher in what we hope will become the Age of Hyper-Enlightenment. We feel, just as literacy spread throughout the world after Gutenberg's Printing Press made publishing cheaper and easier, creating the original Age of Enlightenment, new open source/free software electronic publishing technologies will create a new social awareness as people cooperatively share knowledge to create a compassionate democracy, a global grassroots marketplace, and a truly open society.
