About Modern Masters®

Our company was founded by James W. Rogers, back in 1962, in the San Fernando Valley CA, under the name Custom Paint & Chemical Co, Inc. It was his belief that we should create products for specific niche industries that would not compromise on quality and would relate to the premise that "you pay for what you get". For the next 25 years he produced custom coatings for the furniture, decorative accessory, residential lighting and wall décor industries.
