Sensei Peter Freedman has been a lifelong native of the city of Boston. He resided in the South End and grew up facing difficulties that are not uncommon to many inner-city kids. He has committed his life to the study of martial arts. His father was a professional boxer. Thus from an early age, Sensei Freedman was heavily influenced by his father’s concepts of boxing in the ring as well as by his own experience in the streets.
