The site is not currently maintained, although this may change when Windows Vista becomes a public release. The associated newsletter still is published, although not as frequently, and not regularly.
The original owner of the site died in 2004 and the content belongs to an IP Trust, which is paying for the hosting and domain renewals. There were several claims about who the intellectual property on the site belonged to, but no valid claims were made prior to the required notification period required by Arizona law (which is where the individual who ran the site lived).
