Originally raised in the small southern town of Lake View, SC, this Registered Nurse owner has successfully developed some of the most recognized and respected Home Care practices available. An ICU nurse in the 90's, she owned and operated a successful Medicare providing Home Health agency on Hilton Head Island until 1995, when she sold it to the hospital in order to return to the PeeDee to be close to her aging mother. After winning numerous awards for her efforts, including 'Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, SC- 1995” as well as 'Who's Who' among nurses, she has been recognized as one of the leaders of home care by Merrill-Lynch, Earnst & Young, Inc.500, and Carolina Bank. Mrs. Kasler not only manages her own business with integrity, she continues to devote a great deal of her time to lobbying efforts that help to support state funded medical assistance for the financially disadvantaged. She loves to play golf when she can find the time. She continues to do home visits and enjoys the time she gets to spend with her clients. “That's the real fun of doing this kind of work. I get to meet the people of SC. The clients seem to appreciate developing real relationships with the office staff as well as with the owner and I enjoy them as well.”
A young, vibrant mother of four, Brandy is the owner's daughter. Brandy is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College in Florence, SC. She loves to interact with the clients and their family members. She also manages the overall record keeping. “It's great working together as a family. People really get a caring and hard working dedication when they come to Nightingales”. As a family owned and operated business, Brandy doesn't just see this as a job, it is a way for her to help others, and enjoy life!
Another family member, Caryn is Mrs. Kasler's sister-in-law. She comes to the organization with many years of experience within the Human Resources Department of a major corporation. Caryn oversees the billing and payroll procedures and well as a multitude of other office management related duties. She is definitely the organizer. Caryn will be happy to help you with setting up private billing that suits your individual needs.
