Description
Its Mission is to 'provide data, information and nationwide assessments of Australia’s land, water and biological resources to support sustainable development'.
The Natural Heritage Ministerial Board agreed to a continuation of the Audit from 2002 through to 30 June 2007. A Strategic Plan for Audit activity 2002-2007 has been developed in consultation with members of the Audit Advisory Council.
1. Developing a consistent national reporting mechanism for collating natural resource information collected under the National Natural Resource Monitoring and Evaluation Framework .
