Description
The purpose of the GPRTA is to create a marketing focused organization funded by partnership fees, marketing programs, Alberta North funding opportunities, and fund-raising initiatives. The GPRTA will work with industry partners to create marketing opportunities that will increase tourism visits and spending in the Grande Prairie Region. Specifically, it will coordinate industry marketing programs with Alberta North, promote local current events, publish tourism marketing materials, and represent the membership at trade shows and high profile events.
Various training opportunities will be made available to members and their staff in key areas as established through networking and information sessions.
A comprehensive collection of Alberta Tourism and visitor stats will be made available as well as information on market specific activities.
