- The Onyx Soundlab was started in 2002 in Vernon, Connecticut. By 2004, more space was required, as well as more sophistacted sound isolation, and the studio was relocated to a more appropriate building in Manchester, Connecticut. The 1920's era building was completely renovated and a state of the art recording studio was built. The design incoporated the 1920's antique look, while utilizing state of the art sound specs for studio isolation, control and design making the Onyx Soundlab one of the most sophisticated recording studios in the Northeast.
