The mission of OperaMom is to provide information, support, and services to singing professionals with children. Exclusive interviews with famous operamoms, bi-weekly chats, pertinent articles, and an online support forum are examples of the regular features found at OperaMom. Banner-free webhosting and email addresses are also offered - at no cost whatsoever. OperaMom's webdesign services are available at a low cost, and provide a professional and affordable solution.
Launched in June 2000, OperaMom evolved from necessity. At that time, there was not a forum that primarily addressed the unique challenge of being a mother and a professional opera singer at the same time.
Topics such as pregnancy and breastfeeding are frequented, but OperaMom is not exclusively for women. All singing professionals are invited; operadads are welcomed and encouraged to participate!
