Description
Owner and senior piano tecnician & tuner of Ottawa Pianos, and founded the business in 1966. Dicks vision was to establish a piano and organ business in Ottawa to service the surrounding areas with only the highest quality instruments, repairs and servicing. With over 30 years of technical piano experience, Dick gained his formal RPT status in 1995. Dick performs a large percentage of the Ottawa areas concert tunings.
Carmen has functioned as an integral part of Ottawa Pianos for the past 15 years. Daughter of Dick Papalia, she was exposed to the industry at a young age, and stuck with it ever since. She has seen all parts of the business first hand, and now owns the Yamaha Music School, Ottawa Pianos music education division. Carmen also is administration manager along with Mary-Lou Fry and in this capacity keeps everything running smoothly.
