Having grown up with a dad who was a waterfowl guide in the 60’s & 70’s and being a guide myself since 1983, I understand the importance of waterfowl management as well as your enjoyment and safety in the field. From 1983 through 1994 I worked for several outfitters both large and small. During this time I gained the experience necessary to run a successful outfit. With our top notch, hand selected guides, you can be assured your hunt will be not only successful but also memorable. Paradise Hunting Club has secured and manages thousands of acres on the West side of Houston in the Hockley, Waller, Katy, Brookshire, Eagle Lake, Lissie, East Bernard, Garwood, Wharton, Bay City and El Campo prairies. These rice producing areas are world-renowned for their waterfowl. This part of Southeast Texas is known as the "Goose Hunting Capital of the World" where the largest concentrations of Snow, Blue, Ross, Specklebelly, and Lesser Canadian Geese in North America are available.
1.5 to 1.8 million snow, blue, and ross; 600,000 to 800,000 specklebellies; 500,000 lesser Canada geese; as well as 2 to 3 million ducks, including pintail, blue and green teal, widgeon, gadwall, mallard, northern shoveler, mottled duck, blackbelly tree duck and several species of diving ducks as well.
