Since 1917, the Peter Albrecht name has been associated with quality stage rigging. Peter Albrecht Company, Inc. has been a pioneer in some of the first motorized rigging systems in the world.
One of the largest and most widely known installations is at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City. Installed in 1964, this system is in constant use and is still in operation, basically unaltered.
In the early 70's PAC expanded its areas of expertise to include not only rigging, but lighting and acoustics as well; including in their turn-key projects the design and installation of computerized stage lighting, electro-acoustic systems, orchestra shells and reflectors, orchestra pit lifts, and other systems required for a totally integrated entertainment facility.
