Mr. Houston has over 16 years experience in residential and commercial real estate. He has been a part of RE/MAX for most of that time. During his real estate career he has earned numerous designations and awards including: licensed real estate broker, licensed auctioneer, CRB (certified real estate brokerage manager), CRS (certified residential specialist), E-Pro 500 (internet marketing designation. ..only 500 such designations in the United States), RE/MAX Hall of Fame, Phoenix Award, Active Life Member Million Dollar Club. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, National Auctioneers Association and DeKalb Board of Realtors.
Mr. Houston is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA degree. While at UGA he was a member of Sigma Pi fraternity and the University of Georgia Wrestling Team. Before his real estate career, Mr. Houston was a private business owner, a corporate development director and national sales trainer for an international company. Public speaking has always been a part of Mr. Houston's career, having been a member of Toastmasters International.
