What do I have to say that hasn't been said? Not much...hitting isn't bad, fielding is great, starting pitching and bullpen (save Paplebon) have been pretty inconsistent....but still enough to keep them at/near 1st in the East.
So Damon got the crap booed out of him at Fenway...what will be Pedro's reception if he ends up starting here next week? I know one prominant 'fan' that castigated the booing of Damon has been eagerly anticipating the chance to boo Pedro at Fenway, and is openly encouraging other fans to do so. I wonder why someone would not like the booing of Damon but condone the booing of Pedro ? Hmmmm..
Anyway, here's hoping Timlin can come back soon and be effective...and that other pitchers get back on track to keep the ball rolling...
