Description
‘The True Story’
Andy Clegg left Aberdeen Grammar School in 1986 and joined his local Scottish Infantry Battalion, The Gordon Highlanders. After serving his country for 4 years learning about loyalty, discipline, honesty, respect and hard work it was time to get back to education to give him the qualifications required to embark on a new and exciting journey in the engineering world.
Moray College, Aberdeen College and finally Napier University gave him the further and higher education required securing an engineering position with Baker Oil Tools in Aberdeen. From Baker Oil Tools it was on to the R & D Department of ABB Vetco Gray in March 1997. The first week of this new job was a 5 day Pro/Engineer (Version 18) training course and in that first week Andy Clegg knew his long term future was Pro/Engineer.
Some contracting work around the country was to follow the Vetco days before being invited by PTC to become one of their Value Added Resellers. Now, the ONLY Scottish VAR and UK VAR with a real office and presence in Scotland, Pro E Bureau is 100% focussed to PTC products in Scottish engineering companies.
