Qchex is an interactive online platform that provides finance management and payment automation services to small businesses, consumers and institutions. The service helps you create printable checks to deliver via email and US mail, so your money stays in your bank account until the payment is complete (unlike expensive wire transfer or other payment services). Qchex also offers tools to help customers organize their finances and bank account activity on a broad scale - comparable to Quicken/QuickBooks, MS Money or VersaCheck - yet it is more comprehensive in its scope and is available online globally.
Qchex has experienced tremendous growth and gain in popularity due to its outstanding check delivery features, which allow users to send physical paper checks in the form of checks with either digitized signatures or "demand drafts" (which do not require a signature) to a recipient using the internet. This feature combines the benefits of a high-speed wire transfer with the low cost of depositing a paper check. If accepted via email the check can be printed locally using the recipient's desktop printer, magnetic ink and blank check paper. (available at computer retail stores and office superstores) Another convenient alternative offered is check printing and delivery by mail service for a small handling and postage fee ($0.39).
Use of the Qchex service is based on acceptance of strict "Terms of Use", which require all users to act responsibly, abide the law in all respects, and authorizes Qchex to immediately suspend service in instances of dispute or suspected abuse of its system. It is Qchex's practice to assist authorities in investigations, yet protect the privacy of its users as required by law. We need to emphasize that Qchex does not invade the privacy of the business or interfere with financial transactions of its users. As an analogy, we would not expect the US post office to open every letter or parcel we send and censor content.
