Description
The lodge at Red Cliffs Resort sits high on the banks of the Colorado River surrounded by 2000' sheer cliffs. Decks and porches encircle the main lodge building and conference rooms. The restaurant deck & patio faces up river to the east with an uninterrupted view of Fisher Towers 10 miles away, and the river 100 feet below.
The lodge building is expansive with 20' ceilings supported by huge rough logs. Most of the walls are paneled with wood and the floors are mexican satillo tile. The lobby is furnished with log furniture and accented with local movie and western ranching memorabilia. Adjacent to the lobby is a small store with general tourist related merchandise.
You can try the Castle Creek wines at the tasting counter located in the main lodge. The tasting hours vary but are usually 12:00 noon to 5:30 PM.
