On the 02 May 2008 the forum appeared to be permanently taken down and the link redirected to www.rockdirect.co.uk
Later that day the following e-mail was circulated as a statement from Rock:
Unfortunately, after much consideration the forum is going to remain inaccessible for the time being. It has been a very tough decision to make and to be honest is contrary to what many of us wanted. Apologies for the inconvenience that this causes. We hope to make the forum available again at some point in the futureBen of the Rockforum
A replacement forum has been created here, although informing the rockforum userbase of its existence will prove very difficult.
