- Driving Force Internet Group is proud to be a Canadian business located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. It is the brainstorm of two cousins, Michael Lajoie, President and Tim Lajoie, Vice President. They created roomsplus.com in July of 1996 when they discovered a need existed for a comprehensive directory of travel accommodations throughout Canada and the United States. The company was originally run by these two cousins in the evenings and weekends. Michael and Tim now operate Driving Force Internet Group on a full time basis, and the Driving Force Internet Group currently consists of twelve diverse, competent members.
