 1930 The earliest form of the magazine was The Eastern Rotary Wheel, which was founded and edited by Rtn. Alistair MacRae and published by A. MacRae & Co., Bombay. The source of reports was Rtn. Herbert Bryant, Secretary, Rotary International Middle Asia Branch Office in Bombay. The magazine was printed on glossy art paper.1940 Rtn. MacRae sold his business and emigrated to South Africa after India became independent in 1947.
