Secret Search Engine Labs is a new search engine giving you the less popular search results often omitted by mainstream search giants.
At the Lab we believe Google and the other big player put too much emphasis on huge websites like the Wikipeda or About.com. We rank the search results in a way that gives small quality sites equal opportunity with the giants. This way you can find interesting Niche sites that you would have to scroll down to page 13 in Google to find
The Search Engine for Small Sites
With Secret Search Engine Labs so far being a one man, privately funded project it was clear from the beginning that the search engine would not be the biggest one around. Instead all resources has been put into making intelligent algorithms that enables Secret Search Engine Labs to return relevant search results using an index that is microscopic compared to most big indexes.
At the time of writing the Lab has an index of 240,648 pages and 339,898 links. You can check the current numbers updated daily on the search stats pages. The goal is to index one million pages half way into 2010 and two million pages by the end of 2010, we'll just have to see how that works out.
Add Your URL
You can add your website URL to Secret Search Engine Labs by using the Add URL form. You only need to submit the main domain as the rest of the pages will be spidered by our bot.

One of the goals at the Lab is to provide as much transparency as possible giving access to data that the other search engines does not let you see. You can see the main dashboard for search data at the Search Engine Stats Page and you can see detailed keyword and link information for every page indexed by clicking the Detail link for the page on the search result pages.
