The moving image is an important contributor to the economic and cultural life of Wales and Sgrîn is making sure that this contribution is maximised for the benefit of all Wales.
Sgrîn, Media Agency for Wales began its work on the 1st of April 1997. We are responsible for the formulation of a strategic vision for the development of the industrial and cultural aspects of film, television and new media under 5 headings - New Talent, Business Support, Access and Education, Marketing and Information and Content Development.
Sgrîn is committed to enhancing the Welsh economy and Welsh culture by encouraging industrial growth, cultural development and public involvement in all its forms.
