- ShakespeareHomework.com was created in response to the failure of the internet to provide adequately for its students of Shakespeare.
The internet responds to market forces in such a way as to distort its provision for education, providing an excess of sites that offer students the opportunity to cheat or plagiarise. There is a severe lacking however, of sites that actively encourage and aid pupils in writing essays and bettering their understanding. Many of these helpful sites require a paid subscription before they allow access to all of their resources. Moreover, there has been a lowering of the standard of such accessible resources, a race to the bottom to increase readership. At ShakespeareHomework.com, we want to turn the problem around by using the internet for the purpose that it was initially intended, creating a dialogue between scholars and a platform on which ideas can be shared and spread.
It is with the above in mind that we provide a guide to writing critically, walkthroughs of soliloquies and the full script of the plays for which we provide study materials.
