MUSICIANS who enjoy the new technologies that have helped us express our Art through music and multimedia. As we explore our own possibilities through these mediums, we intend to share our discoveries, insights and knowledge through this website that we have appropriately titled JT3 music workshop.
TYLER: Tyler is 20 years old and is a drummer, guitarist, and composer. His main axe is a Fender Strat equipped with a Roland GK2AH divided pickup. He enjoys pounding on both acoustic and electronic drum kits and loves to sequence drum tracks via Cubase VST controlled by his Roland V-Drums. Tyler has been playing drums since age 11. He started playing Guitar one year ago as a means to explore the melodic side of music. He has composed many songs and hopes to share some of his completed works through this site. GENRES include and are not limited to progressive rock, ambient, techno, punk, visionary and atmospheric compositions. Tyler is currently attending CSUN University majoring in Film Production and Cinematography.
JONATHAN: Jon is 21 years old whose main axe has been saxophone since 5th grade, and has recently translated his skills to the Yamaha WX5 wind synth. He is currently attending CSUN and double majoring in music performance and music composition with an emphasis on media writing. Jon is well versed in digital audio and composition tools such as Cubase VST Score, Digital Performer, and various outboard gear. GENRES include and are not limited to progressive rock, big band jazz, techno, orchestral and film score compositions. Jon enjoys eating CSUN fruit pies and is a Simpsons and LA Kings fanatic.
