Description
The Staten Island Driving Institute was founded by Bill McClelland in March 1978. Bill is still an active instructor at the school and has logged at least 54,000 driving lessons himself. Over the last twenty five years the school has taught at least 10,000 people to drive safely.
Our school is state licensed and the instructors are all college certified. All lessons at the school are strictly private and our pupils are assured the same instructor for each driving session. We take pride in the fact that 95% of our students pass their road test and our chief concern is to teach defensive driving. We specialize in nervous drivers and totally inexperienced drivers.
