- I am devotee of Lord Ganesha since my childhood. It is an interesting short story that How I became Ganpati’s Fan. When I was about 5-6 years old I was in Surat (Gujarat) India. And it was Ganesh chaturthi festival during those days, I had never seen it before. On the last day of chaturthi people go to sea or river to immerse the statue of lord, I had seen hundreds or thousands of ganesh idols from 1-2 feet to 20 feets. I was very impressed and felt something inside me.
