Skate Today was created to showcase the people of the skating world, skaters and coaches and others, who make figure skating and ice dancing a pleasure to watch for fans from around the world. The goal was to create a site that would give viewers an insight into the personalities of the people involved in this sport and to give you a more personal connection when watching them live at an event or on the television. Our staff knows how much time and dedication is put into this sport and that's why SkateToday was created.
Introduced to the skating world at the age of 3, Brett has developed a number of award winning official web sites for skaters. Included in his portfolio are 4 time Canadian silver ice dance medalists Megan Wing & Aaron Lowe, 2 time Canadian bronze pairs medalists Elizabeth Putnam & Sean Wirtz, 2 time Canadian bronze medalist Shawn Sawyer, '03 Canadian Junior Ladies Champion Meagan Duhamel, '02 Canadian Jr. Mens silver medalist Keegan Murphy, Canadian Sr. Mens skater Cole Stanbra, United States Ice Dancers Kimberly Navarro & Brent Bommentre, Canadian Pairs skaters Meagan Duhamel & Ryan Arnold, '06 Junior Mens bronze medalist Jamie Forsythe. Brett is also the webmaster for Kleenex's Celebration On Ice skating tour. He spends his holidays traveling to skating competitions taking photos which can be viewed here on Skate Today.
