Smoky Mountain Outdoors is owned and operated by Denise and Daniel Jennette. Daniel Jennette founded the business in 1993 while in the marketing program at Western Carolina University. After completing college, Daniel opened Smoky Mountain Outdoors located in Hartford, Tennessee with 2 rafts and 2 employees. In 12 years the business has grown every year to 70 employees and over 100 rafts.
