- Back in 1987, Software Dynamix was born. It was a long-time dream to operate a business to escape the clutches of corporate America and join the ranks of business owners. We started out doing custom programming on the IBM 34/36 systems and mainframe systems. There were also some old Sperry Univac 90/30 systems and BC/7's. Later on there were AS/400's, Unisys 2200's and Unix servers. They all needed software and scripts. Indeed, there were many clients to choose from and they all wanted excellent service for a reasonable price.
