SomewhereInCanada was born in July of 2000. But, its creators have been on the internet and involved with computers for years. They felt it was about time to actually make a contribution to the net.
The specific focus of the site is simply "FOR CANADIANS". It doesn't necessarily mean that all the information, pages or anything here is only found in Canada, made by Canadians or about Canada - it just means that anything written here is geared towards the Canadian populace.
That might seem like a very broad approach, and it is, especially considering that Canadians aren't so different than people in the rest of the world. But then again, there must be a reason why we choose to live in/move to and remain in Canada and live as Canadians. More practically, there are certain things that we want to offer here that will act as a resource to Canadians.
