You can even explore Pendennis Castle which was built by Henry VIII in the mid sixteenth century.
Falmouth has four superb beaches offering something for everyone. If you're someone who enjoys the active holiday, then Swanpool or Maenporth are the beaches for you. Or for the not so active why not climb aboard one of the many pleasure boats which can take you along some of Cornwall's most beautiful rivers and creeks.
With locally caught fish, the seafood restaurants in Falmouth are a real treat. The town also includes many other restaurants/pubs and shops.
