Title
Staffordshire Probation Area
Description
More than 50% of staff work directly with offenders. This includes working in our three hostels and in Staffordshire's five prisons.
We all have a personal responsibility not to discriminate against, directly or indirectly, harass or victimise any person on grounds of race, colour, nationality, citizenship, ethnic or racial origins, gender, marital status, disability, age, political or religious beliefs, sexual orientation, dependants, trade union membership or any other ways.
Staffordshire is one of 42 probation areas in England and Wales. Together with the National Probation Directorate we form the National Probation Service for England and Wales. Roger Hill heads the National Probation Directorate. Roger was formerly a Chief Officer and is a qualified Probation Officer. All probation areas are now part of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS).
