Description
I was born on March 19, 1955 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. First born of Donald and Josephine Craig, and brother of Michael and Karen Craig. Dad is a WWII and Korean Conflict veteran, who retired from the Royal Canadian Navy, went on to teach at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology and is now retired. Mom and Dad built a home on Sackville's Chandler Drive in 1971 and Mom resides there still while Dad is in long-term care at Camp Hill Veteran's Memorial. The rest of the family live in Sackville.
I met my wife, Shari Watson, in high school and we were married on July 26, 1975. Shari and her brother, Steve Watson, and sister, Sharon Morse, raised in Sackville are the children of Bill and Connie Watson. Beginning in 1977 we lived in Timber Trail's in Lucasville, Lively subdivision in Middle Sackville, and since 1991, have lived in the house that Shari's grandparents, Will and Mable Watson, built in 1954 on the Old Sackville Road.
Shari and I have two adult children, Marlo and Jonathan, and the joy of our lives, grandson Stephen Christopher. Marlo and Jonathan were brought up, educated, work and live in Sackville. Sackville is our home and it is a wonderful community.
