Recently SVAR changed its focus from running its Animal Medical Center to engaging in animal rights work. Although SVAR continues to invest in free spay/neuter programs, we believe significant progress can be made by being involved in animal rights work.
Our newly revised website provides a summary of the issues we are following. Please take time to become familiar with the many issues impacting the lives of animals as well as the very simple and quick actions you can take to protect the defenseless.
Mission
Silicon Valley Animal Right's (SVAR) no kill philosophy promotes non lethal alternatives to care for and protect animals. SVAR's no-kill mission is accomplished by engaging in animal rights matters locally.
