After a lifetime study of traditional Japanese calligraphy, Master Takase has devoted herself to adapting her art to new mediums and methods and the results are breathtaking.

Located in the beautiful state of Washington, the studio is on South Puget Sound overlooking Squaxin Island on Pickering Passage. Master Takase draws inspiration from this beautiful environment and her artwork often reflects the beauty that is just outside her studio window.
