About Us
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) provides a wonderful support network for the surviving families of those who have died in service to America. To accomplish our mission, TAPS has a small professional staff and a large national volunteer network, managed by our Board of Directors and supported by our Honorary Board. We are grateful to those who have given of their time and their talent.
Honorary Board – TAPS is fortunate to have the involvement and endorsement of some of America’s most prominent patriots. They understand the mission of TAPS, and honor the families of our fallen warriors by supporting our programs.
Board of Directors – Our Board directs the management of TAPS, a 501c3 nonprofit corporation, with the guidance of our attorneys, accountants, and auditors. The Board meets bi-monthly in Washington, DC.
