Description
Born 10 September 1957, Terry left school at 16 to work in the construction industry and then a local council authority before spending some time to develop his ability as an artist. Married and divorced from the short lived childless marriage at a young age, he lives and paints on the south coast.
I am, for the most part, self taught as a painter but have influences as far ranging as my childhood art-idol, Rolf Harris to my modern day icon, Lucian Freud.
I don't categorise myself in any particular style, I just paint because I do and in the way that I paint at the time it comes off the brush on to the surface I'm painting! As for my ability, pictures are subjective therefore only you can decide if you like my stuff.
