- The Assembly 2007 is the official Christian prayer event centered around the commemoration of the Jamestown first landing 400 years ago in Virginia Beach. This national "faith based" event is unique as it is the only one of its kind of any of the Jamestown quadra-centennial events on the official anniversary of the planting of the cross by Robert Hunt, the first chaplain of Jamestown. This monumental event will make history, by not only preserving the central theme of Christ, but by renewing a four hundred year old covenant with God for a new generation that righteousness would once again exalt a nation!
