Description
The Ridges began as a dream. The founders wanted to find a place where the land sprawled out in a natural conveyance of beauty and practicality. Beautiful enough to make someone stop and gasp out of sheer wonder. Practical enough for easy travel into Johnson City, Kingsport or Bristol. And both beautiful and practical enough for homeowners to live adjacent to a golf course of national stature.
They found a place where three ridges come together, broken through by two gentle streams, on rambling farmland on Boone’s Creek Road, about three miles east of historic Jonesborough.
Since development of the residential golf community began in 1995, over 350 homesites on 600-plus acres have been purchased. Today, over 300 families now call The Ridges home, and many more homes are currently under construction.
