Founded in 1997 by James Marciano (Dartmouth '93, Harvard '98), TheSquare was acquired in 2001 by Bennett Carroccio (Columbia '85) and has expanded its services to create the TheSquare Network, consisting of TheSquare, SquareDating, and SquareJobs.
