Welcome to Tirgan.com. I am glad to have you here and hope that you will have a pleasant and informative experience. This site was created to extend the knowledge to those who live beyond our geographical boundaries. You will find valuable cancer related information, as well as Short Tips on well being and cancer care. To prepare this site, we have used a simple and easy to understand language, so that general public can have access to the state of the art of cancer knowledge and yet be able to understand it. Please bear in mind that the contents of this website, are not to be considered medical advise.
This site is created under my direct supervision, providing a broad perspective in cancer care, emphasizing on easy to understand texts. What is covered here is quite diverse, from an overview of cancer to detailed description of medicines used to treat it as well as some of the newest investigational treatment modalities. This reference guide is useful for both patients and their relatives and others interested in learning more about this subject.
I also invite science students, as well as high school and college students to visit our site. This is a one stop place to learn the basics of medical oncology.
