Trade Union International (TUI) forms a part of the structure of World Federation of Trade Unions. It represents the Public Employees, Telecommunication Employees, Health Services and allied employees, Financial Sector employees & Municipal employees of different countries of the world.
The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) was established in Paris on 3 October,1945. The constitution of WFTU provided the formation of industry-wise TUIs. Accordingly TUI of Public & Allied Employees was formed. TUI is an automous body but WFTU & TUIs co-operate with each other.
The constitution of TUI is framed in accordance with that of WFTU. The policy of TUI is also in conformity with that of WFTU.
