Trenchman.com is owned and operated by two guys from rural Minnesota, Blake Nelson and Ant (short for Anthony) Hans. See those two good-looking guys up above on the title graphic? That's us (Blake's on the left, Ant's on the right).
The website itself has been around for years, since around 1999 or so. It used to be entirely about our independent film ventures (most of which starred a laconic superhero called Trenchman; hence the name of the site) but as time went on we started adding movie reviews and other features. Nowadays, we post articles, essays, reviews, and unclassifiable nonsense about the goofy things that interest us: Asian stuff (particularly movies and Hong Kong pop idol paraphernalia; see below), DVD's, crappy movies, toys, video games, that sort of thing. We're still listed in a lot of search engines as a site about indy film, but, well, for the most part we've since moved on to other things, so if that's what you came here for: sorry.
