Come train with one of Atlanta's top Middle Eastern Dance instructors!!!! Stop being frustrated when attending seminars, with a good foundation you can do anything. Zi'ah directs Awalim, an award winning dance company that travels nationally to perform and teach. They fuse many styles of Belly dance with folkloric dances from India, Persia and North Africa as well as with Modern & Jazz dance. Zi'ah is also the costume designer for the dance company and teaches costuming design and construction.
Sessions start every two months: Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/June, July/Aug, Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec Each session lasts 8 weeks with the exception of the short session Nov/Dec because of the holidays. One class for an 8 week session is $96 with discounts for multiple classes. All students must take levels in order. Bring zills to all Level 2 classes.
7pm~Basics Training~ Level 1 Basics classes are just standard classic Egyptian and American bellydance technique. The student can choose whether to pursue Cabaret or Tribal or both once they have acquired good technique. This class is also a good preparation for attending high level seminars. Your language, footwork and endurance skills will give you a good base on which to lay the new information.
