Description
TRICO Corporation was established on December 10, 1987, as a nonprofit, charitable corporation designed to provide counseling, care, and prevention services to residents of St. Mary's County (Southern Maryland) and throughout Maryland.
Although treatment is an important function of the TRICO services, PREVENTION of more serious mental health, substance abuse, and youth delinquency problems is specifically addressed by TRICO through individual counseling, motivational and recreational groups. Remedial services are also provided for those who indicate a need or desire for such programs.
The TRICO's Clinical Division provides comprehensive individual, family, and group mental health services, focusing on children, youth and their families, and persons with developmental disabilities.
