Vj NeXus is a visual artist and live performer. Vj NeXus is a programmer and deisgner. Vj NeXus is an innovator of interactive technologies.
Raised in Chicago, Josh Erbmann takes on the persona of Vj NeXus. His relationship with computers and their ability to merge medias into new shapes began at a very young age, and he was writing his own visual codes by the age of 11. He began creating his own short films by 13, and a passion for the cinematic arts quickly evolved. A love for electronic music blossomed during his highschool years, and the passion quickly led to the turntables. After 7 years behind the decks, Vj NeXus began experimenting with combining his love for music with his love for film. A short lived band, The NeXus Intent, allowed for the much needed visual experimentation, and gave rise to the persona that is now Vj NeXus.
Today he performs at many clubs, concerts, and other such events. Vj NeXus has worked alongside such artists as The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, BT, Junkie XL, Aphrodite, and many more.
