WELCOME to Winchester Bay, Oregon! Our charming coastal community is just about the nicest place you're ever going to find. We are located on the Central Oregon Coast. Salmon Harbor, a great place to moor your small boat, is just 2 blocks off highway 101. We have a river called the Umpqua, a lake called Marie, and an ocean called the Pacific. They are all within an area of 2 miles. The Umpqua Lighthouse stands guard over some of the tallest sand dunes in Oregon. Our picturesque Guest Cottage on the harbour is called the Winchester Bay Guest Cottage and is a perfect location for your next vacation get-away!
What there is to do...........Beachcombing, crabbing, whale watching, fishing, swimming, and the one the kids like best is riding through the sand dunes.
With so much to do in the area, Winchester Bay Guest Cottage is the ideal place to stay. You'll find the activities plentiful. Bring your camera, sketchbook or easel along to capture the beauty or enjoy some of the many nearby activities:
