The first person shooter has become one of the most crowded genres on xbox. Darkwatch: Curse of the West, being developed by High Moon Studios, offers a mix of third person shooting on horseback and vehicles with satisfying first person shooting in a horror-goes-wild west theme. Darkwatch is fast, fun, and looking great. You play as Jericho Cross, a train robber, who robs the wrong train at the wrong time. The train belongs to the Darkwatch, a mysterious secret society that has protected humanity from evil since the dawn of civilization. It turns out that Jericho opens the vault with an evil vampire lord by mistake, letting it out into the world...and gets bit by it in the process. The Darkwatch decides to recruit Jericho, who is now half vampire, to help them get rid of the evils that Jericho has unleashed.

The Xbox has been out for almost four years now and has had a wide variety of Bond games--which EA has managed to dish out like there’s no tomorrow. We’ve seen everything from the good (Everything or Nothing and Nightfire), to the bad (Goldeneye: Rogue Agent), to the merely decent (Agent Under Fire). But now that Pierce Brosnan has left the Bond franchise, what’s EA to do for a new Bond game? Sticking with the gameplay feel of Everything or Nothing, which had you controlling Bond from a third-person perspective, EA will bring us their new Bond game, From Russia With Love, which will have Sean Connery reprising his role from the 60’s Bond hit of the same name.
